ABOUT SJA

Welcome!

I am delighted to acquaint you with Ste Jeanne d’Arc School. It is a school community that has journeyed with thousands of intelligent, enthusiastic, committed, and successful elementary school students.

One key to our success has been our mission, begun one hundred five years ago by the Sisters of Charity of Ottawa and the Oblates of Mary Immaculate, to educate the hearts and minds of the next generation of leaders. It has accomplished this by living its Catholic identity and providing academic excellence.

Another key to our success has been an outstanding faculty committed to best practices. Their energy and passion for learning inspires students to succeed, whether through rigors of math and science, language arts, foreign language, or sports.

A third key to our success has been outstanding leadership as exhibited by the Board of Trustees whose goals are to uphold the mission, promote educational excellence, and maintain financial stability in order to ensure longevity.

Students come to us as a result of parental choice to pursue a strong curriculum necessary to prepare for a successful high school experience. The biggest attraction is the promise of learning and improving oneself to become active participants in whatever life learning experience awaits them.

Selecting the right school is an important decision. For parents who seek a challenging, well-rounded education for their children in a safe, supportive environment, we invite you to explore what we have to offer.

The Ste Jeanne d’Arc School experience is like no other. It is our hope that, as you discover our mission, values and programs, you will decide that it is the right choice for your family.

Come and visit us, you are always welcome.
