PROGRAMS
This after-school activity offers students an opportunity to face an adventurous challenge based on current, real-world issues. Guided by a team coach and assisted by volunteers in the engineering field, students research and solve a real-world problem based on the annual First LEGO League Challenge theme.  In order to participate in the Massachusetts First Lego League competition, they must build an autonomous robot using engineering concepts and present their research and solutions.

The LEGO Club experience encourages students to think like scientists and engineers; provides a fun, creative, hands-on learning experience; teaches club members to work as a team to experiment with possibilities and overcome obstacles; builds self-esteem and confidence; and inspires students to become more engaged in scientific and technological activities.
